Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you book and use any Sleek Auto service.

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Sleek Auto's car wash and detailing services and our website. By booking a service β€” whether online, by phone, or in person β€” you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

2. Our Services

Sleek Auto offers the following car wash and detailing packages:

  • Exterior Basic Wash: exterior rinse, foam wash, and hand-dry finish.
  • Deluxe Exterior Wash: basic wash plus tyre and rim cleaning, window polish, and exterior spray wax.
  • Deep Interior Cleaning: full vacuum, dashboard wipe-down, seat and carpet treatment, and window cleaning.
  • Full-Service Wash: complete exterior and interior cleaning combined.
  • Premium Package: full-service wash plus paint decontamination, ceramic spray sealant, and odour neutralisation.
  • Wax & Polishing: machine polish to remove light scratches and swirl marks, followed by a protective wax coat.

3. Bookings and Appointments

  • Bookings can be made online through our website, by phone, or by email.
  • An appointment is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email or SMS from us.
  • Please arrive within 10 minutes of your scheduled appointment time. Late arrivals may result in a reduced service or rescheduling to protect the schedule of other customers.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate vehicle information at the time of booking. Incorrect details (e.g. wrong vehicle size or type) may affect the service or price.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or reschedule a booking if the vehicle is in a condition that poses a risk to our staff or equipment (e.g. heavily contaminated, infested, or structurally unsafe).

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made 24 hours or more before your appointment are accepted free of charge.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the booked service price.
  • No-shows (failure to arrive without notice) may be charged the full service price.
  • Sleek Auto reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments in exceptional circumstances (e.g. severe weather, equipment failure, or staff illness). In such cases, you will be notified as soon as possible and offered the next available slot at no extra charge.

5. Pricing and Payments

  • Prices are displayed on our website and are subject to change. The price confirmed at the time of booking is the price you pay.
  • All prices are quoted in Euros (€) and include applicable VAT.
  • Payment is due upon collection of your vehicle after the service is completed.
  • We accept cash and major debit/credit cards at our premises. We do not store or process card details β€” card payments are handled securely via a certified card terminal.
  • Additional charges may apply if the vehicle condition requires extra time or materials beyond what was selected at booking (e.g. excessive mud, pet hair, or biological contamination). We will inform you of any additional cost before proceeding with extra work.

6. Vehicle Drop-Off and Collection

  • Please remove all valuable personal belongings from your vehicle before drop-off. Sleek Auto is not responsible for any personal items left in the vehicle.
  • You will be notified by SMS or email when your vehicle is ready for collection.
  • Vehicles not collected within 4 hours of the completion notification may incur a storage charge of €5 per hour thereafter.
  • The vehicle will only be released to the person who booked the appointment or an authorised representative. Please bring valid photo ID if requested.

7. Liability and Damage Claims

  • Our staff will conduct a vehicle inspection before and after every service. Any pre-existing damage will be noted on the service record.
  • In the unlikely event that damage occurs to your vehicle during a Sleek Auto service, please notify a staff member before leaving our premises. Claims reported after departure cannot be verified and may not be accepted.
  • Sleek Auto's liability for any damage caused during service is limited to the cost of repair for the specific damage caused, up to a maximum of the value of the service booked.
  • We are not liable for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, loose trim, poorly fitted accessories, or modifications to the vehicle that were not disclosed at drop-off.
  • We are not liable for any indirect losses, including loss of earnings or inconvenience, arising from a service delay or cancellation.

8. Service Limitations and Disclaimers

  • Results from detailing services (polishing, wax, ceramic coating) depend on the existing condition of the paintwork and cannot be guaranteed to achieve a specific outcome.
  • We do not undertake repairs to damaged bodywork, glass, or mechanical components.
  • Services may take longer than estimated for vehicles in particularly poor condition; we will communicate any significant delays.
  • Sleek Auto reserves the right to refuse service to vehicles that are excessively dirty beyond the selected package scope, with the option to upgrade the package at an additional cost.

9. Customer Conduct

We are committed to maintaining a respectful and safe working environment. We reserve the right to refuse service β€” without refund β€” to any customer who:

  • Is verbally abusive, threatening, or disrespectful to our staff.
  • Provides false or misleading information at the time of booking.
  • Attempts to circumvent or dispute confirmed charges without valid reason.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Sleek Auto website β€” including text, images, logos, design elements, and code β€” is the property of Sleek Auto and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish any content without our prior written consent.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Sleek Auto's services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Finnish courts. As a consumer, you also have the right to refer disputes to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi).

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on this page with the updated date. Continued use of our services after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
